River Description: |
The Izavieknik River is a very remote float and one of the most scenic of all the Southwest Alaska float trip options. This is a short float by comparison and is ideal for the group that is interested in doing a shorter float or for those who would rather spend more time camping and hiking in lieu of the longer float trip options. Besides a Sockeye run that reaches Upper Togiak Lake by late July the Izavieknik offers great Char fishing along with Grayling and Lake Trout. |
